Blue hiking trail 

The route passes through the unique natural area of the Poodří Protected Landscape Area. Coming from Ostrava, it begins at the railway station in Jistebník; from the opposite direction, it starts at Studénka station. From Jistebník, the trail covers just under 10 kilometers, during which hikers pass by the Rákosina and Bažantula nature reserves, home to many animal and plant species. From Studénka, visitors can enjoy a 2-kilometer trail along the Kotvice nature reserve and the meanders of the Odra River. Both options lead to the tourist crossroads at the Odra footbridge and are accessible along their entire length for both hiking and cycling.

You can also plan your own route and explore the surroundings of the airport and the Poodří Protected Landscape Area according to your preferences.

If you plan to visit the Poodří Preserve during NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days, please keep in mind that you will be moving through naturally exceptionally rich area. Please respect the regulations effective in natural preserves. Please behave considerably towards the nature.
